50 Prizes? Confused Player Wins $100,000 on $50 Scratch-off

Reisterstown resident plans to use prize to help daughter purchase a home

A Baltimore County woman who bought a $5,000,000 Cash scratch-off knew she won big when she matched winning numbers on all 50 blocks of the instant ticket’s play area. However, there were so many prizes to add up she became confused about her final score.

Some of the prizes were $200 but there were many $1,000 prizes and $10,000 prizes. While adding up her numbers, she initially forgot to include the $10,000 prizes. “I thought I only won $60,000. I was very excited when I found out it was $100,000,” the happy player said about her second-tier prize.

The Reisterstown resident rushed home after discovering her big win to tell her family about her Lottery luck. A retired government worker, she plans to buy her daughter a new house with her prize. The big winner likes to read and cook and plans to continue playing $5,000,000 Cash scratch-offs in hopes of discovering the top prize.

“I want to win that $5 million,” she said with a smile.

The loyal player bought the second-tier winning instant ticket at the Reisterstown Royal Farms located at 15 Hanover Pike in Baltimore County.

The $5,000,000 Cash game went on sale in February 2024. A Silver Spring resident is the only player who has claimed one of the four $5,000,000 top prizes and the Reisterstown woman takes home the third of 10 $100,000 prizes. This game is still packed with more than a million prizes ranging from $100 to $10,000.
