A casino-oriented vacation is in the cards for a Maryland Lottery enthusiast from Baltimore after he won a $50,000 top prize on the $5 scratch-off ticket GAME OF THRONES™ scratch-0ff.
Speaking Aug. 20 after claiming his prize at Lottery headquarters in Baltimore, he said he enjoys a variety of games.
He reports his recent scratch-off win is his biggest to date, but he also got a big payday playing multiple tickets on the same Pick 4 number previously.
He bought the winning ticket at Harry’s Liquors at 3113 Greenmount Avenue in Baltimore and scratched it on site to reveal the win.
“I walked out of the store really quickly,” he said. In addition to not wanting to call attention to himself, he also had failed to bring his glasses and wanted to make certain his eyes weren’t playing tricks. They weren’t.
In addition to that casino vacation, he says he’ll be using his winnings to pay some bills.
Harry’s Liquors receives a bonus of $500 for selling the top-tier winning scratch-off ticket.
