$50,000 Winning Powerball Ticket Sold in Bethesda

Saturday’s estimated jackpot annuity now set at $535 million

Powerball is picking up momentum as no one hit last night’s jackpot, but a $50,000 winning ticket was sold in Bethesda along with 19,370 other winning Maryland tickets with prizes ranging from $4 to $100.

The winning numbers for the Dec. 13 Powerball drawing were 3, 8, 41, 56 and 64; the Powerball was 18. Check your tickets if you were in Montgomery County where a third-tier winning ticket was sold at Woodmont Market at 8227 Woodmont Avenue in Bethesda. This is the 75th third-tier winning Powerball ticket sold in Maryland in 2023.

The next Powerball drawing on Saturday, Dec. 16, has an estimated annuity of $535 million and an estimated cash value of $257.6 million.

Lottery officials encourage all winners to sign the back of their tickets immediately and put them in a safe location. They get 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes. Instructions on claiming prizes in person or by mail are available HERE. Players must redeem prizes larger than $25,000 by mail or at Lottery headquarters in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330 in Baltimore. Powerball players now have the opportunity to watch the drawings live, as every Powerball and Double Play drawing are live streamed at mdlottery.com. Drawings take place at 10:59 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Double Play is an additional drawing that takes place about 30 minutes after the regular drawing.
