Powerball jackpot rolls to estimated annuity of $151 million for Wednesday
If you are a Powerball player and added Double Play for the Monday, April 21 drawing, you might want to check your tickets as a $50,000-winning ticket was purchased in Prince George’s County last night.
The Double Play third-tier winning ticket was sold at the Exxon at 6500 Suitland Road in Morningside. The winning Double Play numbers from the drawing are 18, 23, 34, 35 and 67; the Powerball was 13.
Double Play is a second drawing that occurs 30 minutes after each Powerball drawing, giving players a chance to win up to $10 million with the same ticket numbers. Players can add the feature to Powerball tickets for $1.
The jackpot for the April 23 drawing is set at an estimated $151 million annuity and with an estimated cash option of $69.3 million.
Lottery officials encourage all winners to sign the backs of their tickets immediately and put them in a safe location. They get 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.
Instructions for claiming prizes are available on the How to Claim page of the Lottery website. Prizes of more than $25,000 must be claimed through Lottery headquarters, either in person or by mail. Lottery headquarters is in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330, in Baltimore. An appointment is required to claim in person (no walk-ins). The appointment scheduling page shows all available appointment times.
