Baltimore Player Claims $50,000 Bonus Match 5 Top Prize

One of three top winners on daily game so far in 2022

A Baltimore woman claimed a $50,000 prize Jan. 14 after matching all five winning numbers in the Jan. 11 Bonus Match 5 drawing.

The 47-year-old bought her $4 ticket at Food Stop Mini Mart at 2415 Frederick Avenue in Baltimore, replaying a series of numbers she has played before. The retailer earns a $500 bonus from the Lottery, equal to 1 percent of the prize, for selling the lucky top-prize winning ticket.

She is the fifth person to win a top prize playing Bonus Match 5 in 2022 and the only one to claim her big win to date. The four unclaimed winning tickets were sold in these drawings at these retailers:

  • Jan. 8: Shoppers #2383, 10501 Martin Luther King Jr. Highway, Bowie.
  • Jan. 10: Eldersburg Exxon, 1385 Liberty Road, Eldersburg.
  • Jan. 14: Clinton Crossing Exxon at 8915 Woodyard Road in Clinton and at Silver Hill Exxon at 5921 Marlboro Pike in District Heights.
