Baltimore Woman Closes Out 2022 with Second $25,000 Pick 5 Win

Money going into the bank to save for a rainy day

After years of playing Pick 3 and Pick 4, a player from Baltimore added Pick 5 to her mix and it keeps paying off big. She won $25,000 on Dec. 21 and $25,000 in October 2022.

“This is my second trip down here,” she said on Jan. 19 at Lottery headquarters in Baltimore, where she claimed her prize from the Dec. 21 drawing. The loyal player won after placing a 50-cent straight bet on the number 25957 in the Dec. 21 and 22 evening drawings.

After her first win, the lucky lady used some of the money to help a relative in need, paid off some bills and put the rest into savings, where it still sits. She plans to use her most recent score to make sure her bills are up to date and will bank the rest.

“I’m going to put it in the bank for a rainy day,” she said.

Meanwhile, she plans to continue playing, with an eye to hitting big on Multi-Match.

Sharing in her good luck is a different store from her October win. This time, Wawa #8511 at 4901 Boston Street in Baltimore picks up a bonus of $250, equal to 1% of the prize, for selling a $25,000 winning Pick 5 ticket.
