Check Your Tickets: $550,000 Multi-Match Jackpot Hit in Annapolis

Annapolis was the hot spot for Multi-Match on Thursday, Oct. 9 — Someone bought a ticket at Bella’s Liquors at 1376 Cape St. Clair Road yesterday, and, after last night’s drawing, that ticket has an annuity value of $550,000.

The winner has the option of taking a single one-time payment of $300,000.

Time to check those tickets. The winning combination is 12-23-29-31-33-34. Though there’s only one ticket that matched all six numbers drawn on a single line, there are 13 tickets that matched five of the six for $1,000 wins. In addition, six tickets are worth $500 for matching nine of 18 numbers on a single three-line play and another 63 winners at the $100 level who matched eight of 18 numbers on a single three-line play.

Each $2 Multi-Match play has three lines of six numbers each, which means there are three chances to win the top prize.

Lottery officials encourage the winner to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe location. Winners have 182 days after the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.

Instructions for claiming prizes are available on the How to Claim page of the Lottery website. Prizes of more than $25,000 must be claimed through Lottery headquarters, either in person or by mail. Lottery headquarters is in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330, in Baltimore. An appointment is required to claim in person (no walk-ins). The appointment scheduling page shows all available appointment times.

This is the fifth time this year a Multi-Match jackpot has been hit. All four other winners – one each in the St. Mary’s County community of Callaway, Columbia, Riverdale and Towson – have claimed their prizes.

The next Multi-Match drawing is Monday, Oct. 12, when the jackpot resets to an annuity value of $500,000 with a one-time payment option of $250,000.
