Dundalk Player Wins $50K on Powerball as Mega Millions Nears Half Billion

Check your Powerball tickets because a $50,000 winning ticket was sold in Dundalk for the Sept. 29 drawing.

The winning numbers are: 1, 3, 27, 60 and 65; the Powerball is 16. One player matched four of the five white balls plus the red Powerball for the third tier $50,000 prize on a ticket sold at the Quick Mart at 6920 German Hill Road in Dundalk.

Players in Florida, Illinois, New York and Washington matched all five balls without the Powerball for second-tier wins of $1 million each.

Since there were no jackpot winners in the Sept 29 drawing, the jackpot for Oct. 1 increases to an estimated annuity value of $174 million with an estimated cash option of $80.7 million.

There are still unclaimed Powerball prizes from the summer: two $100,000 tickets from Oxon Hill and Sykesville and three unclaimed $50,000 winners from Belcamp, Elkridge and Silver Spring.

Mega Millions takes center stage as tonight’s jackpot is set at an estimated annuity value of $497 million with an estimated cash option of $229.5 million
