A Harford County Racetrax player who visited her local Lottery retailer, Edgewood Amoco BP, wound up with a huge $86,841.90 payday!
The Edgewood woman came into Lottery headquarters with a wide smile and her lucky $48 Superfecta Box ticket in hand. The 57-year-old bet on 10 races with her winning picks — 8, 9, 10 and 12. She added the Bonus multiplier feature and around the track the horses went. The lucky lady won in the first race when her horses crossed the finish line in the order of 12, 8, 9 and 10. The x3 Bonus tripled her prize!
The happy winner told Lottery officials she plans to use her windfall to purchase a new home.
Edgewood Amoco BP at 2201 Pulaski Highway in Edgewood can celebrate, too, for helping turn $48 into the $86,841.90 Racetrax win. For selling a winning Racetrax ticket of $10,000 or more, the Maryland Lottery retailer receives 1% of the prize. This retailer earns a bonus of $868.41 from the Lottery.
