FAST PLAY Progressive Ticket Worth $50,499 Sold in District Heights

The first winning ticket on the new FAST PLAY Cash Combination progressive jackpot game is worth $50,499 and was sold Sept. 8 in Prince George’s County.

The ticket was purchased at J. B. Liquors at 5842 Silver Hill Road in District Heights. The retailer receives a $504.99 bonus for selling the ticket.

The $5 Cash Combination game went on sale on Aug. 22 with 15 progressive jackpot prizes that start at $30,000 and increase each time a ticket is sold. There are other lower tier prizes ranging from $5 to $5,000.

The Lottery urges the winner to sign the back of the ticket and put it in a safe place. The player has 182 days (six months) from Sept. 8 to claim the prize.

Instructions for claiming prizes are available on the How to Claim page of the Lottery website. Prizes of more than $25,000 must be claimed through Lottery headquarters, either in person or by mail. Lottery headquarters is in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330, in Baltimore. An appointment is required to claim in person (no walk-ins).
