Father and Daughter from Baltimore Win $100,000 on Scratch-Off

A father and daughter team from Baltimore play the Lottery together and get an occasional win of $50 to $100, so when the daughter hit for $100,000, it was a cause for celebration.

Though excited, the pair was decidedly business-like after claiming the prize on Aug. 26 at Lottery headquarters in Baltimore.

After paying some bills, the daughter plans to take a trip to the West African nation of Côte d’Ivoire, also known as Ivory Coast.

They’ll also be looking into making some investments to save for the future. And, in the future they’ll continue playing the Lottery.

The winning ticket, a $10 Rose Gold scratch-off, was purchased at the Sunoco Plus station at 4719 York Road in Baltimore, which receives a $1,000 bonus.
