A Reisterstown resident completely changed how she goes about playing Lottery games and wound up in the Lottery Winner’s Circle. After upgrading from $1 and $2 instant tickets to a $10 scratch-off, she bought three non-winners in a row but remained optimistic and persistent. Her fourth purchase gave her a $50,000 win in the Gold X50 game.
The 60-year-old found her brush with Lottery luck at Cranberry Sunoco gas station located at 398 Baltimore Boulevard in Westminster. She occasionally visits the store during her work lunch break.
After buying three non-winning scratch-offs, she left the business. Afterward, however, she got a gut feeling that she should buy one more game. She spun the car around the block, went back inside Cranberry Sunoco and bought her fourth instant ticket. That was a profitable U-turn! After scanning her scratch-off several times, the lucky lady realized she had a $50,000 windfall.
Part of the reason why she decided to start buying $10 scratch-offs is because she wanted to splurge for her fiancé’s upcoming birthday gift. No doubt part of her winnings will go toward a nice surprise. After that, she said, the rest goes toward bills and savings.
