A Gaithersburg woman and scratch-off enthusiast is always on the lookout for the newest Lottery tickets. She and members of her household frequently pool together and buy tickets for everyone to enjoy. Most recently, though, she bought herself the newly released Rose Gold ticket which led to a $50,000 prize.
One day after leaving work, she made a stop at Redmill Beer & Wine at 7248 Muncaster Mill Road in Derwood.
Upon scratching the $10 ticket, she saw that she had a matching number with a corresponding $50,000 prize. Happy and excited about her discovery, she told her family the great news.
She currently works as a cook. She plans to use her winnings to buy a new car. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with family.
The Rose Gold scratch-off launched in April. This win is the first $50,000 prize claimed on the ticket, which leaves three unclaimed. There are also still seven $100,000 top prizes remaining.
