She wasted no time scratching her tickets, and was happy to see that two of the three tickets were winners. In addition to the $57,777 winner, Mary Ann hit for $25 on one of the other scratch-offs. She was super excited, and quickly shared the news with her boss who thought she was joking.
The Hagerstown woman just celebrated her 22nd anniversary with her husband. Together they have six children.
Mary Ann isn’t the only one who wins. Giant at 3530 Sugarloaf Parkway in Frederick will receive a $577.77 bonus for selling a winning scratch-off worth $57,777.
The $5 Lucky 7s Tripler game launched on May 19. This was the first $57,777 top-prize claimed, and seven remain. In addition, there are hundreds of thousands of prizes between $5 and $5,000 up for grabs.
