The JURASSIC PARK scratch-off is down to one $50,000 top prize after a Prince George’s County woman claimed the game’s second to last big winner on April 27. The $5 scratch-off launched in September 2025 with six top prizes, and, in a span of just seven months, players have claimed five of them.
The most recent $50,000 winner said she picked up the scratch-off on her way home from work one day. She stopped at the 7-Eleven at 3599 East-West Highway in Hyattsville, grabbed a cup of coffee and three of the movie-themed scratch-offs. She played them at home.
“I scanned the three tickets and the last one was the winner,” she said. “When I saw that message, I just couldn’t believe it.”
The excited player wanted to be sure, so she ventured back to the 7-Eleven and asked the cashier to confirm that her ticket was a $50,000 winner.
“I asked if it was a winner and the cashier said, ‘Yup, sure is!’” the winner smiled after claiming at Lottery headquarters in Baltimore.
She shared the good news with her son, who accompanied her to claim the prize.
“When she told me, I thought it was going to be less,” said her son. “I was shocked that it was $50,000.”
The hair salon employee is unsure of what she’ll do with her good fortune. She expressed that she might fix up her car, but in the immediate future, the winnings will go in the bank.
In addition to the single $50,000 prize remaining, the JURASSIC PARK scratch-off still has two $5,000 prizes unclaimed and thousands of prizes remaining between $5 and $1,000.
The 7-Eleven store where the ticket was purchased will receive a $500 bonus.
