A Middle River woman is celebrating her first big Lottery win. She enjoys Maryland Lottery scratch-offs, Keno and Racetrax, and thanks to her most recent Racetrax quick pick with a trifecta box bet, she had a $28,332 payday on Oct. 13.
The winner bought her Racetrax ticket at the Royal Farms at 406 Bowley’s Quarters Road in Middle River. She placed a $4 bet on horses 2, 7, and 12. At the end of the race, horses 12, 2, and then 7 crossed the finish line in the at order. The initial prize is $2,361 for a $1 bet. The $4 bet quadrupled that amount to $9,444 and then the bonus was X3 bringing, her total winnings to $28,332.
She was quite surprised when she learned that she had finally won her biggest Lottery prize. Not only is she a resident of Baltimore County, but she is also a business owner of 41 years. She plans to use her winnings to pay bills and buy herself a 19-foot Yamaha jet boat.
Royal Farms on Bowley’s Quarters Rd will receive a $283 bonus.
