Second-chance promotion returns with 62 prizes; two chances to win $100,000
The Maryland Lottery kicks off the holiday season today with six new scratch-offs and a Holiday Second-Chance Promotion that includes three holiday-themed FAST PLAY games arriving in November. Visit your Lottery retailer this week to try your luck with the six fun holiday-themed scratch-offs: Gift Tag Cash, It’s Gold Outside, Peppermint Payout, Holiday Luck Doubler, Snowflake Tripler and Win $100, $200 or $500.
Gift Tag Cash is a $1 game with 41 top prizes of $500. Reveal a “tree” symbol and win the prize shown. Reveal a “snowman” symbol to win double the prize shown. This scratch-off is shaped like a gift card with a “to” and “from” area to use in holiday gifting.
The $2 It’s Gold Outside scratch-off has six top prizes of $10,000. Reveal a “gift” symbol and win the prize shown. Reveal a “tree” symbol to win $20 automatically.
The $3 Peppermint Payout game has play areas on both sides of the scratch-off! The fan-favorite instant ticket returns this year with six top prizes of $30,000 and the second play area. First, players reveal 22 peppermint numbers and try to match all of the numbers in a straight row on the peppermint tree play area to win the prize shown for that row. On the back of the instant ticket, reveal a “gingerbread man” symbol in the play area to win the prize shown.
There are six $50,000 top prizes on the $5 Holiday Luck Doubler scratch-off, which offers 15 chances to win. Match any of your numbers to any one or more of the four winning numbers to win the prize shown for that number. Reveal a “2X” symbol, win two times the prize shown for that symbol. This game has two scenes.
Snowflake Tripler is a $10 game with five $100,000 top prizes and three scenes. Match any of your numbers to any one or more of the five winning numbers to win the prize shown for that number. Reveal a “snowman” symbol, win double the prize shown for that symbol. Reveal a “tree” symbol to win triple the prize shown.
Last but not least, the Win $100, $200 or $500 is a $20 game loaded with more than 71 million prizes ranging from $100 to $200 and $500. In all, there are 14,540 $500 top prizes. Match any of your numbers to any one or more of the five winning numbers to win the prize shown for that number. Reveal a “$$” symbol, win that prize automatically.
The popular Holiday Second-Chance Promotion returns today, too, with chances to win 62 cash prizes. In addition to the six scratch-offs, players can enter the three holiday-themed FAST PLAY games arriving in November to qualify. The FAST PLAY games are: $1 Reindeer Riches with 20 $1,000 top prizes, $5 Merry Money Match with 10 $50,000 top prizes and the $10 Winning Wonderland ticket with 10 top prizes of $100,000.
The promotion allows players to enter non-winning holiday scratch-offs, and winning and non-winning holiday FAST PLAY tickets, into My Lottery Rewards to earn entries for a chance to win cash prizes. Entries are cumulative and will carry over after each drawing.
Twelve drawings will take place from Oct. 29 to Jan. 16 to award $5,000 to 60 winners. Two $100,000 prizes will be awarded as well during the Dec. 5 and Jan. 16 drawings.
