Lottery launches new game featuring four drawings daily
CASH POP is here! The Maryland Lottery today (May 6) launches a new daily draw game that gives players the chance to win prizes of $5 to $2,500 by matching just one winning number.
CASH POP is a simple game with lots of options: Four times every day, one winning number, or POP, is drawn from a range of 1 to 15. Drawings are at 9 a.m., 1 p.m., 6 p.m. and 11 p.m.
Players can select as many POPS as they want for each drawing, including all 15. Each POP you choose gives you a 1 in 15 chance to win.
Next, pick your play amount. You can choose whether to play $1, $2, $5 or $10 for each POP, and there are nine possible prize amounts for each type of play:
- Prizes for a $1 play range from $5 to $250
- Prizes for a $2 play range from $10 to $500
- Prizes for a $5 play range from $25 to $1,250
- Prizes for a $10 play range from $50 to $2,500
After picking your POPS and play amount, your ticket will print with a prize amount showing for each POP you selected. The prize amounts are automatically generated by the statewide Lottery system. If you have the winning POP for your drawing, you win the prize shown on your ticket for that POP.
You can play up to 10 consecutive CASH POP drawings on the same purchase. If you purchase multiple drawings you will receive a separate ticket for each drawing.
