A Riverdale woman, who won a $2 million top prize on the $30 200X the Cash scratch-off, had trouble believing it was the real deal.
“She’s been asking me all the time, ‘Do you think it’s real?’” her husband said April 10 when the two claimed the windfall at Lottery headquarters in Baltimore. By the time of claiming, she was largely convinced of the reality of the situation.
She plans on paying off her mortgage, investing and taking a trip overseas to visit family.
She bought the life-changing ticket at Riggs Grocery at 5405 Kenilworth Avenue in Riverdale, which receives a bonus of $2,000.
The 200X the Cash scratch-off launched in December 2025 with five $2 million top prizes, three of which remain. The ticket is a part of a family of scratch-off games ranging in price from $1 to $30. Non-winning X the Cash tickets can be entered into a second-chance promotion for the chance to win up to $75,000.
