Baltimore County man wins top prize on Holiday Ca$h instant ticket
An instant ticket given as a gift from his grandma just kept on giving to a lucky fellow from Baltimore County. The Windsor Mill resident received a $5 Holiday Ca$h instant ticket from her during the holidays. That scratch-off gave him enjoyment as he played it and a $50,000 top prize.
The lucky instant ticket came from Dorsey Shell gas station located at 1356 Dorsey Road in Hanover. The 21-year-old had never played Lottery games before this holiday, which was all the more reason it was hard for him to stay calm after learning that he won.
The new player is currently self-employed. When asked of his plans for his prize, he says that he plans to take care of family members with the winnings.
The Dorsey Shell gas station will receive a $500 bonus from the Lottery for its role in selling a $50,000 top-prize winning scratch-off. The ticket went on sale in October 2022 with eight $50,000 top prizes. There are still three big prizes remaining, along with five $5,000 prizes and others ranging from $5 to $1,000.
