Horses with long odds finished in the money in two Racetrax games, one each on Oct. 24 and Oct. 26, giving players in Baltimore, Fort Washington, Laurel, Suitland, Takoma Park, and Waldorf big paydays last week.
On Oct. 24, the first four horses to finish were 12, 11, 10 and 1, resulting in four of the six big wins, and on Oct. 26, the finish order was 9, 10, 12 and 1. Horses in the computer-animated Lottery game are numbered 1 through 12, with the No. 1 horse having the best odds, and the No. 12 horse having the longest odds. A seventh Racetrax player in Randallstown also picked up a big win on Oct. 22.
Meanwhile, three players in other games – two scratch-offs and one Pick 5 – won $50,000 each in Hyattsville, Silver Spring and Westminster.
On all games, players won more than $27.1 million across Maryland in the week Oct. 20-26, including 23 tickets worth $10,000 or more.
Winners are encouraged to sign the backs of tickets and keep winning tickets in a safe location. Tickets for draw games expire 182 days after the drawing date. FAST PLAY tickets expire 182 days after purchase. The last dates to claim for scratch-off tickets are posted on the scratch-offs page at mdlottery.com.
