The lucky player buys his tickets in the morning for both the midday and evening Pick 5 drawings. On Jan. 13, his routine brought him to 8 Days a Week Liquor at 1700 Taylor Avenue in Parkville, which is one of his favorite Lottery retailers. The Towson resident always checks his ticket online the next day and quietly celebrated the big win from the evening drawing. The retiree returned to the retailer to confirm his $50,000 prize but has kept news of his good fortune a secret.
The father of three plans to put his prize into the bank for now and decide later how to enjoy his winnings.
