West Virginia Couple Claims Final $100,000 Lottery Holiday Raffle Prize

The last of the Maryland Lottery’s Holiday Raffle big prizes was claimed this week when a couple from West Virginia brought a ticket worth $100,000 to Lottery headquarters in Baltimore.

And it wasn’t their only win on the game, as they scored prizes of $50 and $500 on the game.

The two were in Bethesda on Dec. 7 and made a post office stop. After that, they decided to go across the parking lot to Westlake Wine & Beer at 10442 Autopark Avenue, where they bought their Holiday Raffle tickets.

Back at home after the holidays, they checked their tickets after the Jan. 2 Raffle drawing and realized they had a big winner on their hands. They ended up traveling back to Maryland on March 5 to claim the prize.
