The only thing hotter than the weather right now is Bonus Match 5 after another $50,000 winning ticket was sold for last night’s drawing, this time in Gaithersburg. This is the fourth time in the last five drawings someone has won a $50,000 top prize on Bonus Match 5.
The winning numbers for the Monday, June 15, drawing are: 2, 7, 19, 25 and 33. The Bonus Ball number is 27.
The winner bought the ticket at the 7-Eleven at 19235 Watkins Mill Road in Gaithersburg. The Montgomery County retailer receives a bonus of $500 for selling the top-tier winning ticket.
There were three consecutive drawings with top-tier Bonus Match 5 winners last week: Bowie ($100,000) on Thursday; Odenton ($50,000) on Friday; and La Plata ($50,000) on Saturday. As of June 16, all remained unclaimed.
Bonus Match 5 drawings are held seven evenings a week. Tickets are available for as little as $1 for a single play, with discounts available for purchasing multiple plays on a single ticket slip. Each play is made by selecting five numbers from a range of 1 to 39. Five winning numbers are drawn, and then a Bonus Ball number is drawn from the remaining 34 numbers. Players who match the five winning numbers win the game’s $50,000 top prize. There are prizes ranging from $2 to $600 for having at least two of the winning numbers and the Bonus Ball, or having at least three of the winning numbers.
