The Powerball jackpot has been bouncing higher and higher as no one has matched all six numbers since the Sept. 6 game, but a player in Annapolis was able catch a third-tier $50,000 prize in the Nov. 19 drawing by matching five of six.
The winning Powerball numbers for Nov. 19 are: 10, 31, 49, 51 and 68; the Powerball is 19. One player matched four of the five white balls plus the red Powerball for the $50,000 prize. That ticket was purchased at the Safeway grocery store at 1781 Forest Drive in Annapolis.
Another player in New Jersey matched all five of the white balls without the Powerball for a second-tier prize of $1 million, but no one had a perfect match. That result grows the jackpot for the Nov. 22 drawing to an estimated annuity value of $629 million with an estimated cash option of $294.5 million.
Across Maryland, 14,779 Powerball players won prizes ranging from $4 to $100 in the Nov. 19 drawing.
The Annapolis winning ticket is one of eight unclaimed Powerball prizes in Maryland worth $50,000 or more. The other seven are:
