Retired Silver Spring Banker Heading to LA for 2028 Summer Games

Barbara Henderson of Silver Spring won a trip to the 2028 Olympic games with the Lottery’s Keno Team USA™ second-chance promotion.

Barbara Henderson is going to the 2028 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

The Silver Spring resident was selected through the Maryland Lottery’s Keno Team USA™ second-chance promotion. Barbara is the first of five winners to be selected for a VIP trip for two that includes round-trip airfare, five nights deluxe hotel accommodations, tickets to four Olympic events, meals, ground transportation, $1,000 spend money and Team USA apparel.

“I was very excited when I got that email. I feel very fortunate,” she said.

The retired banker said she plans to bring one of her daughters on the trip to California and said they are looking forward to watching track and field and gymnastic events.

Players can purchase and enter Keno tickets into My Lottery Rewards from now until Feb. 22. Players who enter a winning or non-winning Keno ticket will receive one (1) entry per one dollar ($1) entered.
