Claims $27,600 prize on Racetrax Trifecta bet with Bonus option
A lucky 23-year-old raced across the finish line and into the Maryland Lottery’s Winner Circle recently, thanks to a $27,600 Racetrax win.
The Anne Arundel County resident visited Chesapeake Market Citgo in Annapolis and placed a Trifecta wager on horses 8, 9 and 10, betting they would cross the finish line in that exact order. The Annapolis man then added the Bonus multiplier feature to his 20-draw ticket and off the horses went. His winning combination led to a quadrupled prize because the Bonus multiplier was x4.
Chesapeake Market Citgo is also in the Winner’s Circle. For selling a winning Racetrax ticket of $10,000 or more, the store located at 502 South Cherry Grove will receive a bonus of $276 from the Lottery.
