Baltimore County Nurse Celebrates Double Pick 5 Win

Lucky woman claims two Pick 5 prizes for grand total of $75,000

An Owings Mills woman who plays Lottery games quite often, particularly Pick 5,  consistently uses the same set of numbers for games. Last Friday, she decided to play those numbers straight on two separate Pick 5 tickets, winning top prizes on a 50-cent ticket and a $1 ticket that total $75,000.

The nurse found her Lottery luck at Save A Lot in Baltimore where she occasionally goes to buy her games. Her numbers are comprised of the date of death of her boyfriend’s father. The lucky lady watched the drawing later that evening and was very excited to learn that she had two big winning tickets.

So far, she hasn’t told anyone the great news. She’s been a nurse for the past 16 years and plans to use her winnings to boost her savings account. When she’s not working or playing Lottery games, the Baltimore County resident said she enjoys spending her time reading.

For its role in the sale of the winning tickets, Save A Lot located at 234 McMechen Street will receive a combined $750 bonus for selling two winning Pick 5 tickets with a combined prize of $75,000.
