Baltimore Woman’s Lucky Numbers Lead to $50,000 Powerball Prize

Purchased third-tier winning ticket in Feb. 16 drawing

A Baltimore City woman enjoyed her own personal Winner Wednesday this week as she visited Lottery Headquarters on March 2 to claim her $50,000 Powerball prize.

The anonymous winner played her own set of lucky numbers in the Feb. 26 Powerball drawing, and Lottery luck came through with the $50,000 third-tier win.

The lucky winner purchased her winning ticket at Monument Street Shell located at 5000 Pulaski Highway in Baltimore. This lucky retailer also sold a $100,000 winning scratch-off in 2021 and a $102,304-winning FAST PLAY Lucky Numbers ticket in 2020.

Want to try your luck in the next Powerball drawing? The jackpot for the March 2 drawing has an estimated annuity value of $73 million with an estimated cash option of $48.6 million.
