Check your Bonus Match 5 tickets if you made a purchase in Montgomery Village as a $50,000 winning ticket was sold for last night’s drawing.
The ticket was purchased the day of the drawing at Grape & Grain at 19233 Watkins Mill Road. For selling the top-tier winning ticket, the Montgomery County liquor store receives a bonus of $500.
The winning numbers for the Tuesday, Sept. 29, drawing are: 3, 7, 14, 20 and 33. The Bonus Ball number is 34.
Bonus Match 5 drawings are held seven evenings a week. Tickets are available for as little as $1 for a single play, with discounts available for purchasing multiple plays on a single ticket slip. Each play is made by selecting five numbers from a range of 1 to 39. Five winning numbers are drawn, and then a Bonus Ball number is drawn from the remaining 34 numbers. Players who match the first five winning numbers win the game’s $50,000 top prize. There are prizes ranging from $2 to $600 for having at least two of the winning numbers and the Bonus Ball, or having at least three of the winning numbers.
Instructions for claiming prizes are available on the How to Claim page of the Lottery website. Prizes of more than $25,000 must be claimed through Lottery headquarters, either in person or by mail. Lottery headquarters is in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330, in Baltimore. An appointment is required to claim in person (no walk-ins).
