A Carroll County man recently took a drive to Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore to claim a $33,468 Racetrax prize.
The winner told Lottery officials he enjoys playing the computer-animated game. Without much rhyme or reason, on Oct. 2 he chose to place his Superfecta bet on horses 6, 8, 3, and 5. To win on a Superfecta bet, your horses must cross the finish line in exact order. The winner chose the right horses that day, producing a $33,468 win.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Sheetz store at 3281 Main St. in Manchester. The lucky store will receive a $334.68 bonus for selling Racetrax winner of $10,000 or more.
