Discovers second-tier prize on Million Dollar Mega Multiplier game
A $50,000 winner from Prince George’s County experienced only a brief moment of disappointment recently when he scratched off five of the six Million Dollar Mega Multiplier instant tickets he bought. Nary a prize appeared. His mood improved quickly, however, when the Hyattsville resident scratched off the final instant ticket and won $50,000.
The 39-year-old found his winning scratch-off at Shell Food Mart located at 7430 Riggs Road in Adelphi. “I was really happy and excited,” the lucky man said. When asked of his plans for his prize, the player said he wants to share his windfall with family members.
This exciting new $20 scratch-off went on sale July 18. This win makes only the second $50,000 prize won out of an original seven prizes. There are still six $1,000,000 top prizes remaining along with 121 unclaimed $10,000 prizes.
