Maryland Lottery second-chance winners celebrate on the Let’s Make a Deal® set during their VIP trip to Hollywood.
After a year of anticipation, five excited Maryland Lottery winners took to the skies and headed for the bright lights of Hollywood. The winners from 2025’s Let’s Make a Deal scratch-off second-chance promotion each won a four-day VIP trip for two to Los Angeles, CA.
In addition to round trip air transportation and hotel accommodations, each winner received $1,660 in spending money, a hosted tour of Los Angeles landmarks, and attended a taping of the Let’s Make a Deal game show where they had a chance to win additional second-chance prize money.
The winners visited the iconic Hollywood sign, walked the walk of fame as Hollywood Boulevard prepped for a movie premiere, and cruised Beverly Hills to Burbank taking in the sights and sounds around town. And when it was time for the taping each of our winners got to experience the famous game show in real life, joining the audience as a bumble bee, pirate, barista, chef and a toy cowgirl!
“From the excitement of finding out we won to being part of the live show atmosphere, this experience created memories that we will cherish forever and reminded us that sometimes taking a chance can lead to something truly extraordinary,” said trip winner Rahshena Felder-Dorsey.
Each of the winners won additional cash prizes based on the outcomes of winners that they were paired with during the taping of the game show. Carolyn Perkins from Forest Heights won $3,000, Wallace Thrash from Clinton, Keyna Fisher from Cambridge, and Rahshena Felder-Dorsey from Randallstown each won $2,000, and John Barnes from Upper Marlboro won $1,000.
