‘Miss Elkton Sunshine’ on a Roll with Lottery Scratch-off Prizes

Bankroll Buck$ instant ticket player enjoys $50,000 win

Some people win one or two Maryland Lottery prizes and they are walking on air. A Bankroll Buck$ scratch-off player from Elkton, however, is winning so much she’s walking on sunshine.

“I’ve won a few times in the past, and every time I win I feel very lucky,” said the player calling herself “Miss Elkton Sunshine.”

As it turns out, this Cecil County resident is being modest about her Lottery luck. In 2019, for example, the 71-year-old won $100,000 on a $10 Bingo X10 instant win ticket and then $50,000 on a $20 Max A Million scratch-off. In January 2021, she won $10,000 and in early February claimed her $50,000 prize! “Miss Elkton Sunshine” found her second-tier win on the Bankroll Buck$ game at ACME Markets #2862 located at 101 Big Elk Mall in Elkton.

The retired administrator spent her previous winnings on home repairs that included a roof replacement. Moving forward, she wants to use her Lottery luck to help other people build their future.

“My husband and I plan to start a scholarship at the college I retired from so that the students who need it can pay for their education,” said “Miss Elkton Sunshine.”

The $10 Bankroll Buck$ game, which debuted late last year, has five unclaimed $100,000 top prizes, seven remaining $50,000 second-place prizes and 20 $10,000 prizes still up for grabs!
