Monday Night Drawings Create Two $100,000 Winners, One $50,000 Winner

Lucky tickets sold in Bonus Match 5, Powerball games

Lottery luck was flowing Monday night, as two Powerball tickets won $100,000 third-tier prizes and one Bonus Match 5 ticket won $50,000 in the evening drawings.

The Maryland Lottery is looking for two lucky players who bought Powerball tickets with the Power Play multiplier and the top-prize winning Bonus Match 5 ticket at these retailers:

  • $100,000 Powerball — Allentown Liquors, 6321 Allentown Road, Camp Springs (Prince George’s County)
  • $100,00 Powerball — Hanson Mystic gas station, 1713 Hanson Road, Edgewood (Harford County)
  • $50,000 Bonus Match 5 — Eldersburg Exxon, 1305 Liberty Road, Eldersburg (Carroll County)

Check your tickets if you bought them at these retailers for the Jan. 10 drawings. The winning Powerball numbers were 14, 17, 18, 21 and 27; the Power Ball was 9 and the Power Play multiplier was x2. The two $100,000 winners matched four of the first five numbers and the Power Ball number to land $50,000 prizes, which were doubled to $100,000 because they both had the Power Play option on their tickets.

The winning Bonus Match 5 numbers were 4, 9, 19, 26 and 35; the Bonus Ball was 3.

Lottery officials encourage all winners to sign the backs of their tickets immediately and put them in a safe location.
