Catonsville’s Peter Jardieu had a great day as Contestant of the Game as the Orioles hit five home runs to give him $3,000.
Five home runs hit for April 19 Contestant of the Game
Peter Jardieu of Catonsville, a Home Run Riches Contestant of the Game, happily watched multiple Orioles home runs fly out of the ballpark on April 19.
The retired 75-year-old Baltimore County resident and his wife were watching the Saturday game at a bar and were hoping for a lot of home runs.
It started off great as the Orioles first two hitters of the game, Cedric Mullins and Gunnar Henderson, hit back-to-back home runs. Ramón Laureano had two home runs and Jordan Westburg added another to give the Catonsville resident a total of five home runs and $3,000 for the game. Each constant receives $500 for being selected, $500 for each home run and $5,000 for any grand slams hit by the Orioles.
“We were hoping for a big day, but we weren’t expecting that many home runs,” Peter said, who also won $2,500 during the promotion in 2018.
The avid Orioles fan said he purchases FAST PLAY Home Run Riches tickets just so he can enter the Contestant of the Game promotion.
