Players Win $50,000 on Five Bonus Match 5, Powerball Tickets

Lucky tickets sold Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Queen Anne’s counties

Two Saturday night Lottery drawings delivered a total of five $50,000 winners, with three of the winning tickets sold at the same Eastern Shore retailer.

Congratulations to all of our winners! There were four top-prize winning Bonus Match 5 tickets in the May 7 drawing that matched the five winning numbers: 8, 9, 18, 28 and 38; the Bonus Ball was 17. The winning Powerball numbers to match for the $50,000 third-tier prize were 4, 5, 6, 28 and 67; the Power Ball was 10 and Power Play was x2.

The Lottery retailers that sold the winning tickets were:

  • Powerball: 7-Eleven #26253 at 7901 Wise Avenue in Baltimore (Baltimore County);
  • Bonus Match 5: Three tickets at Outpost 544, 1921 Dudley Corner Road, Millington (Queen Anne’s County); and one ticket at Daddy Pa’s Convenience & Deli, 4114 Bell Grove Road, Brooklyn Park (Anne Arundel County).

The two retailers that sold the top-prize winning Bonus Match 5 tickets will receive a bonus from the Lottery of $500 for each ticket. Outpost 544 will receive a $1,500 bonus and Daddy Pa’s Convenience & Deli will earn a $500 bonus.

Lottery officials encourage winners to sign the backs of their tickets immediately and put them in a safe location. They get 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.

Players must redeem prizes larger than $25,000 by mail or at Lottery headquarters in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330 in Baltimore. Winners can also drop off a winning ticket along with a completed claim form and copies of their photo ID and proof of Social Security/Tax ID number in the Lottery drop box in the Montgomery Park Business Center lobby.
