Results are anticipated Tuesday morning; players should hold on to their tickets
Monday night’s Powerball and Double Play drawings were delayed as one of the 48 participating lotteries worked to finalize its sales results.
Powerball tickets are sold in 45 states, as well as Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The game is operated under strict protocols that require all 48 lotteries to finish processing their sales results and report the data before the drawings can occur. The Maryland Lottery is not the source of the delay.
Anyone holding Powerball tickets for the Monday, Nov. 7 drawing should hold on to them. It is anticipated that the drawing results will be available on Tuesday morning. Players will be able to check their tickets and redeem winning tickets at that time. Video of the Powerball and Double Play drawing will be made available at powerball.com< and Powerball’s YouTube channel.
