Takes home $1 million top prize on Money Explosion game
An avid Lottery player from Harford County is celebrating an unforgettable $1 million top-prize win on a $20 Money Explosion scratch-off.
About a week ago, the Lottery fan purchased a handful of scratch-offs and some other Lottery games. Included in the bunch was the lucky Money Explosion ticket. The big winner scratched the games off at home. Like many others, this player likes to reveal all of the winning numbers first on the instant ticket and, if there is a match, scratch to see the prize beneath the matching number. Well, there was a match and underneath that number was a $1 million prize!
“I just could not believe it,” said the lucky player.
Still in shock but convinced of the win, the player shared the news with some family members and a few close friends. The big winner then hid the scratch-off and made an appointment to claim the prize at Lottery headquarters.
The lucky Lottery retailer that sold the winning Money Explosion scratch-off is celebrating, too. MacPhail Exxon located at 600 West MacPhail Road in Bel Air earns a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling a $1 million top-prize winning scratch-off.
The Money Explosion scratch-off went on sale in July 2021 and has two $1 million top prizes remaining along with three $50,000 prizes and 46 $10,000 prizes.
