The Week in Winners: Big Scratch-Off Wins in Upper Marlboro, Silver Spring as Mega Millions Jackpot Keeps Rolling

Maryland Lottery Prizes total more than $37.7 million, with 56 tickets worth $10,000 or more

It was a big week for Maryland Lottery players across the board, as scratch-off tickets paid a pair of six-figure prizes in Upper Marlboro and Silver Spring; a FAST PLAY progressive jackpot delivered nearly $100,000 on a ticket sold in Sykesville; and 24 Pick 5 tickets won prizes of at least $25,000.

And just for good measure, the Mega Millions jackpot continued to climb. The estimated annuity value for the Sept. 3 drawing is $681 million with an estimated cash value of $336.1 million. Players in Baltimore, Columbia and Frederick each won $10,000 in last week’s two Mega Millions drawings.

Across Maryland, the Lottery paid more than $37.7 million in prizes during the seven-day period ending Sept. 1, including 56 tickets worth $10,000 or more that were sold or redeemed during that span.

Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Claims Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only. Prizes of up to $5,000 can be claimed at any of more than 400 Expanded Cashing Authority Program (XCAP) locations. All Maryland Lottery retailers are authorized to redeem tickets up to and including $600. More information is available on the How To Claim page of mdlottery.com.
