Retail worker can start planning for retirement, thanks to Lottery win
A Westminster woman, who chose the alias “I Played, I Won”, was full of excitement as she won a $50,000 Bonus Match 5 top prize.
According to the retail worker, who has been playing Bonus Match 5 for years, she’s had some good luck with the game. She recalls one occasion when she purchased 11 tickets with the same number and received 4 out of 5 numbers for a $400 prize, which multiplied to a $4,400 prize. She was never a top-prize winner until now.
“I came so close in the past. I knew I would win one day. I never gave up,” the winner said after she matched all five numbers on the Nov. 10 drawing.
She explained her current strategy is to play multiple lines a night with different numbers. Three of her lines are based on previous numbers that made her a lower-tier winner, but the rest of her lines are random numbers she chooses every night. Ironically, one of her random numbers made her a winner.
“Bonus Match 5 is my go-to-game. I’ve had the most luck with that game,” the loyal player noted.
The Carroll County resident is into fitness and plans to use her prize towards retirement.
The 7-Eleven at 353 Baltimore Blvd. in Westminster is also a big winner as the Carroll County retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the ticket.
