Claims first top prize on $10 Bingo X10 scratch-off
While her husband was at work, a Baltimore County woman was feeling a little bored and decided to head over to Royal Farms. While there, she purchased a Bingo X10 scratch-off ticket to help pass the time. That ticket turned out to be a $100,000 top-prize winner.
The winner told Lottery officials she occasionally plays Powerball and Mega Millions, but she’s particularly fond of $5 and $10 Bingo and crossword scratch-offs. She was happily surprised when she noticed she matched numbers on the “twist” on Card #8. She then checked the prize legend for Card #8 and learned she won one of the game’s $100,000 top prize.
She told Lottery officials she had to look three times, because as many times as she has played the Bingo X10 game, she’s never before matched numbers in the twist.
There are currently no plans for her newfound fortune. After working 25 years in the medical insurance field, she has no plans of retiring.
Royal Farms at 10740 Pulaski Highway in White Marsh will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the top-prize winning scratch-off.
This was very first $100,000 top prize sold on the 8th edition of this ticket since it launched in March. There are still five $100,000 top-prizes remaining along with several smaller prizes.
