A Maryland Lottery fan, that’s fond of the Bingo style scratch-off games, is celebrating a big win. In April, the Montgomery County man scratched his way to a $50,000 prize on the Bonus Bingo X20 2nd Edition scratch-off game. He claimed his big prize on May 22.
The landscaper stopped for gas at the Lake Forest Exxon last month, and while there, he decided to purchase some Lottery tickets. Among them was one of his favorites, Bonus Bingo X20. Later that day, he scratched it at home and revealed a $50,000 win.
The lucky player shared the good news with his wife before locking the ticket away. He then checked the Lottery’s website to find out how to claim such a big prize. When he arrived, he told Lottery Officials his plans for the $50,000 win.
“I’m just going to pay off some bills and save some,” said the Gaithersburg resident. “I’m going to keep playing. Maybe I’ll win again.”
The big winner purchased the Bonus Bingo X20 2nd Edition scratch-off from the Lake Forest Exxon located at 448 North Frederick Avenue in Gaithersburg. He nabbed the third $50,000 prize on the game, there are four remaining. Other prizes still available include three $500,000 top prizes, 34 $10,000 prizes and thousands of prizes ranging from $20 to $5,000.
