James Dabney Jr. of Baltimore is looking forward to trying some Hawaiian food after he won a trip to Hawaii in the JURASSIC PARK second-chance promotion.
James Dabney Jr. of Baltimore is heading to Hawaii, thanks to the JURASSIC PARK second-chance promotion from the Maryland Lottery.
Players who enter non-winning JURASSIC PARK scratch-offs into My Lottery Rewards are automatically entered into the promotion for a chance to win a trip to Hawaii with the chance to win up to $1 million.
“I can’t wait to check out that Hawaiian food,” James said about his trip.
According to the retired electrician, he has never visited the Aloha state. He has been all over the country to areas such as Texas, Utah and many northeast states. He is looking forward to the experience of going to the island.
“The closest I have been to Hawaii was watching Hawaii Five-0,” the 71-year-old winner said laughing.
James will join three other Maryland Lottery trip winners on a six-day, five-night trip for two to Hawaii. In addition to round trip air transportation and hotel accommodations in Oahu, Hawaii, each trip winner will receive $1,000 in spending money, a welcome reception and one tour or excursion from a variety of curated tours and activities in and around Oahu. While in Hawaii, trip winners will each have the opportunity to participate in the $1,000,000 JACKPOT CHALLENGE for a chance to win up to $1 million.
A total of four drawings will take place, each randomly selecting one trip winner. Remaining drawings will occur on Nov. 13, 2025, Dec. 9, 2025 and Jan. 7, 2026.
The $5 JURASSIC PARK scratch-off from the Maryland Lottery launched on Sept. 19 with six instant top prizes of $50,000. Winners from Washington, D.C. and Elkridge have claimed the first two $50,000 prizes, while four top-prizes remain unclaimed.
