Another 109 top prizes remain unclaimed on popular $20 game
She is the 51st person in the Maryland Lottery’s 50th year to claim a $50,000 prize on the $50,000 Cash scratch-off, but she had exactly zero words to say about it.
Instead, the Glen Burnie woman flashed a big smile. She filled out her paperwork on May 31 to claim the windfall on the $20 game.
The ticket went on the market on Dec. 29, 2022 with 160 top prizes of $50,000. Five months later, 109 of those big prizes remain, along with 118 of the original 174 second-tier $5,000 prizes and tens of thousands of other prizes ranging from $20 to $500.
The $50,000 Cash game remains among the most popular in the Lottery’s repertoire, holding steady at the No. 10 spot on the Top 40 Scratch-Offs list.
