Lucky Laurel Racetrax Player Lands in Lottery Winner’s Circle

Lucky numbers deliver $63,381 Superfecta win

A dedicated Lottery player nicknamed “Tigana” says Racetrax is his favorite game because it gave him his biggest prize of $3,000 and also because he usually wins and “comes out on top.” The Laurel man’s Dec. 30 day of play set a new record for his biggest prize with a $63,381 win on a Superfecta bet.

“Tigana” was smiling ear to ear as he shared the story of his five-figure win. On his way home from work, the 20-year Lottery player stopped at Royal Farms #159 in Baltimore to play his numbers. He placed a $1 Superfecta bet for 20 races on horses numbers 1, 10, 11 and 12.

Checking his tickets the next morning using the Lottery mobile app, the loyal player was stunned by the results. “I couldn’t believe it, I really could use the money right now.” After confirming the $63,381 prize on the Lottery’s website, “Tigana” made an appointment at Lottery headquarters to claim the winnings.

“Tigana” plans to use the windfall to purchase a home and pay bills. As far as playing the Lottery in the future, he said, “I can’t stop! My next win might be bigger than this.”

The lucky player isn’t alone in winning. Royal Farms #159 located at 1801 Washington Boulevard in Baltimore receives a $633.81 bonus from the Lottery for selling a winning Racetrax ticket of $10,000 or more. The bonus is equal to 1% of the prize.
