Monday Night Drawings Create Winners of $150,000 and $50,000

Big prizes won in July 18 Powerball, Bonus Match 5 drawings

A stormy Monday night showered the state with two big winners in the evening Powerball and Bonus Match 5 drawings.

A lucky Powerball player added the Power Play multiplier feature to a ticket, tripling the third-tier prize to $150,000. Check your tickets closely if you bought one at Giant #344 located at 6020 Marshalee Drive in Elkridge. The winning numbers to match from the July 18 drawing are 14, 34, 36, 50 and 58; the Powerball was 5 and the Power Play multiplier was x3.

No one hit the jackpot, which rolled to an estimated $101 million for the Wednesday, July 20 drawing. The estimated cash option is $58.7 million.

Meanwhile, a lucky Bonus Match 5 ticket generated a $50,000 top-prize win. That ticket, sold by Oceans Market at 14107 Coastal Highway in Ocean City, carries the winning numbers of 3, 13, 27, 31 and 36; the Bonus Ball was 35. This was the 27th top-prize-winning Bonus Match 5 ticket sold this year and leads to a $500 bonus for the Worcester County retailer.

Lottery officials encourage the winners to sign the backs of their tickets immediately and put them in a safe location. Winners get 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim prizes.
