Three Feb. 16 Drawings Create Trio of Big Wins

Lucky Bonus Match 5, Pick 5, Powerball tickets sold in Baltimore City, Dundalk, Silver Spring

Three separate Maryland Lottery drawings turned Feb. 16 into Winner Wednesday for lucky Bonus Match 5, Pick 5 and Powerball players. They bought winning tickets worth $50,000 and $25,000.

Silver Spring’s 29 Convenience Mart sold a $50,000 top-prize winning Bonus Match 5 ticket. The Montgomery County business located at 10755 Colesville Road earns a $500 bonus from the Lottery for selling a top-prize winning ticket in the game. This is the ninth top-prize winning Bonus Match 5 ticket sold in 2022.

A third-tier winning Powerball ticket was sold at Monument Street Shell located at 5000 Pulaski Highway in Baltimore. This is the 12th $50,000-winning Powerball ticket sold in in Maryland in 2022. No one hit the jackpot in the Feb. 16 drawing, which results in its roll to an estimated annuity value of $31 million for the Saturday, Feb. 19 drawing. The estimated cash option is $20.7 million.

A $25,000 Pick 5 win on a 50-cent straight bet occurred at 7-Eleven #35757 in Dundalk. This is the eighth $25,000 winning ticket sold in Pick 5, which is a new game that joined the Lottery lineup on Feb. 7. For selling the $25,000-winning ticket, the Baltimore County retailer located at 4000 North Point Boulevard earns a $250 bonus from the Lottery.

Lottery officials encourage the winners to sign the backs of their tickets immediately and put them in a safe location. Winners get 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim prizes.
