A proud Baltimore native and lifelong Ravens fan became the first $200,000 top prize winner on the Maryland Lottery’s $10 Ravens X10 scratch-off. The longtime Lottery player stopped by Maryland Lottery headquarters to share her exciting story.
The winner, who’s been playing Maryland Lottery games for more than 40 years, said she enjoys playing for entertainment and a little thrill. On the day of her big win, she stopped at Seena Wine & Liquors, located at 2448 North Charles Street in Baltimore, before heading to work.
“I grabbed five $2 Ravens scratch-offs and one $10 Ravens ticket,” she said. “During my break, I scratched all the tickets. All but one were non-winners. I thought I won $200 and was so happy!”
Out of excitement, she showed the ticket to a coworker who encouraged her to scan it. Later that evening, she returned to the retailer to verify the win and got the surprise of her life.
“The cashier told me it was a $200,000 top prize. I dropped to my knees and prayed. I even shed a few tears of joy,” she shared.
Overwhelmed with excitement, she rushed home to tell her family the good news. She plans to take them on a trip to Jamaica, her favorite destination, and save the remainder of her prize.
“This win is motivation to keep playing and to get my family into the fun,” she said.
The Ravens X10 and the $2 Ravens X2 tickets went on sale Aug. 22. The $10 game launched with four top prizes of $200,000, three of which now remain unclaimed along with three $50,000 prizes, eight $10,000 prizes and thousands of additional prizes ranging from $10 to $1,000.
Players can enter any non-winning Ravens tickets into their My Lottery Rewards accounts, where they will be eligible for the Ravens Second-Chance Promotion. Non-winning $2 tickets receive two entries and non-winning $10 tickets give players 10 entries. The Lottery has six Ravens second-chance drawings throughout the football season, and prizes available include:
- Six finalists for season tickets for 20 years will each win $10,000, and one of them will win a pair of club-level tickets for 20 years starting with the 2026 season.
- Six additional winners will receive $10,000 cash prizes.
- Three winners (and their guests) will travel with the team to Cincinnati for the Dec. 14 game against the Bengals. The trip includes tickets to the game, travel on the team-chartered flight, hotel, a Saturday reception with a meet-and-greet with a player and $1,000 cash.
- 10 winners will each receive a pair of 2026 upper level season tickets, a parking pass and $250 in Ravens Bucks to be used for food and merchandise on game days.
- 18 winners (two per home game) will be selected to participate in a Pass for Cash on-field experience, which includes $5,000 cash, a pair of tickets and a parking pass to a Ravens game, a customized jersey and two pre-game hospitality passes. Winners will join a former Ravens player on the field for the chance to win more cash.
- 17 “Fan of the Game” winners (one for each game) will receive $1,000 for being selected and will get an additional $1,000 for every Ravens touchdown scored during their designated game.
