Bonus Match 5 has been the game to play in the past several weeks, and that trend continued as two top-prize tickets were sold in Parkville last night (Aug. 4). One player bought two tickets with the same combination for a $100,000-winning prize.
The winning combinations were sold at the Speedy Convenient Store at 7101 Darlington Drive in Parkville. For selling the ticket, the Baltimore County retailer receives a $1,000 bonus.
The winning numbers for the Aug. 4 drawing are: 6, 8, 14, 15, 36. The Bonus Ball was 39.
This is the third top tier winner in the last five draws, the 15th winner since July 3 and the 26th top-prize winner in 2025.
Bonus Match 5 drawings take place seven days a week. Players select five numbers ranging from one to 39. Five numbers are drawn, then the Bonus Ball is drawn from the remaining 34 numbers. The Bonus Ball provides extra chances to win lower tier prizes. To win the $50,000 prize, the ticket must match the first five balls drawn.
Lottery officials urge the winner to sign the back of the ticket and put it in a safe place. The player has 182 days (six months) to claim the prize.
Instructions for claiming prizes are available on the How to Claim page of the Lottery website. Prizes of more than $25,000 must be claimed through Lottery headquarters, either in person or by mail. Lottery headquarters is in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330, in Baltimore. An appointment is required to claim in person (no walk-ins). The appointment scheduling page shows all available appointment times.
